Health and wellbeing New Wine Church aims to promote active communities by encouraging people towards healthy eating and physical fitness. The Church seeks to bring healthy changes to school-age children through minimising obesity, and aims to reduce high-risk drinking and related negative consequences among teenagers and youth. The seniors are not left out, as there are bi-weekly exercise classes organised for senior members of the community, which take place here at New Wine Church. New Wine Church also works with community initiatives to produce behavioural and attitude changes with regard to lifestyles among adults who are at the risks of heart disease and stroke. This is done through a series of activities: interactive exercises, rehabilitation interventions combined with godly and educative teachings, as well as various workshops, all provided by trained facilitators. To know more about these life-changing programmes, look out for the next edition of our holistic health conference tagged “Balance”.
