Today's passage starts with the example of a church that received the Gospel of Christ and allowed Christ to transform them positively. This gladdened the heart of Apostle Paul who paid a huge price to be able to minister the gospel to them. Fulfilling our calling is not always ‘a bed of roses’ but always worth it.
