For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age. Titus 2: 11- 12 (NKJV)

During Maximise Life this year, we took a deep dive into the truth of God’s Grace, and we learnt that Grace is the remarkable gift of God that carries out God’s work in us.

From Paul’s letter to Titus, we see that there is no need for believers to be anxious about the subject of God’s Grace. It is unfounded to imagine that Grace would encourage licentious behaviour. Rather, when we embrace Grace, it teaches us to be godly, sober and to embrace righteous living.

Grace is the Person of our Lord Jesus (John 1: 17), and He brought the good news of forgiveness, healing, liberty, and favour to all who will believe Him (Luke 4: 18- 19). In other words, receiving and depending on the Grace of God is the only way to walk in practical righteousness.
