“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

Children's Ministry:

This is the day that the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. On the last Sunday before Christmas, the Children’s ministry ministered unto us: Ogooluwa prayed for everyone, and Tomisin and Pelumi Daramola read some acrostic poems about our wonderful saviour. Joshua sang ‘we wish you a merry Christmas’, and Joanna interpreted it in sign language. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings, God has indeed ordained praise!

Precious’s Testimony

Her journey in believing God started as a 14-year-old girl. She went to visit her uncle in Ireland and encountered his two dogs. Precious was initially afraid of them, but by the end of the stay, she fell in love with them. Around the same time, her mum was teaching her how to believe God for things, and that God cares about the little aspects of her life. So, she decided to believe God for a dog!

Without hesitation, she asked her mum if she could have a dog, but she said no. Each time Precious asked, her mum’s response remained the same, until one day, she replied: ‘ok, why don’t you pray about it?!’

So, she prayed about it, and every day for 2 years, she expectantly took her request to her Heavenly Father. She told all her friends at school: ‘my Father is getting me a dog!’ They thought Precious meant her earthly father, but it was actually her Heavenly Father- God himself, that she was referring to.

One day, whilst she was upstairs, her mum shouted: ‘Precious, come downstairs now!’ As soon as she heard this, she knew that her dog had come. She ran downstairs, and to her amazement, a small, fluffy, four-year old dog appeared in front of her, and she was just as she imagined!
She believed that her wonderful God would get her a wonderful dog, and He kept His promise! Our God and Saviour is indeed wonderful!

The Wonderful Name of Jesus

Jesus was only man ever in history, to go to the cross, and on the third day as He promised, rise up, ascend to Heaven, and become a life-giving Spirit that resides in you and me. You are full of His wonders!

I Am Full of His Wonders!

The book of Philippians said that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The Lord is rich towards those that call upon His name. Acts 3:1-10 says: silver and gold they did not have; but they realised that they were full of the wonder of God, and they simply brought the name of Jesus into that situation.

It is a travesty when men and women live below their possibilities, because they are not aware of what is possible in the name of Jesus. Sometimes, we stop at the ‘silver and gold have I none’, and focus on the things we do not have, not knowing that what we have is enough.

What you have in Christ is enough; where you are is a good place to start.
